During a board meeting, summarizing the work done in 2025, he reported on joint efforts to train medical specialists with foreign institutions. In particular, cooperation is being carried out with medical organizations from Russia, Turkey, the USA, and other countries.
According to the minister, previously the number of residents from the Kyrgyz State Medical University sent for training abroad was limited. However, the department now intends to significantly expand this practice.
“We aim to increase the number of our specialists who will be able to undergo training and internships abroad. This is an ambitious but feasible project. We already have partners with whom negotiations are underway,” noted Dosmambetov.
He also added that he has a meeting scheduled in early February with the Minister of Health of Russia, Mikhail Murashko, during which one of the key issues will be increasing the quotas for internships for doctors from Kyrgyzstan.
“We hope that the Russian side will be able to accept our specialists for internships at their own expense for a period of one to four years,” emphasized the minister.
