The celebration was dedicated to the 114th anniversary of the restoration of independence and national freedom of Mongolia.
The ceremony of illuminating the Samuel Beckett Bridge in the national colors of Mongolia took place on December 29, 2025. This event was organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Ireland in collaboration with the Dublin City Council.
During the event, the 114th anniversary of the restoration of independence and freedom of Mongolia was reflected. The Mongolian side expressed sincere gratitude to the Dublin City Council and Ms. Catherine Heaney for their friendly assistance and successful cooperation in implementing this project.
Diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Ireland were officially established on December 22, 1998. Currently, more than 5,800 citizens of Mongolia live, work, and study in Ireland.
