The amount of the bribe was 150,000 soms to terminate the criminal case
An employee of the Internal Affairs Department of the Jayil district, accused of extortion, was detained by representatives of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB).
According to law enforcement agencies, on January 13, during the pre-trial proceedings and as part of operational activities, police captain J.A.Z. was arrested for demanding 150,000 soms to close the criminal case.
The detainee has been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
