Deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva supported the opinion that the issue of alimony is relevant and requires reform, as she and her colleagues regularly receive inquiries on this topic.
She cited an example where court bailiffs did not allow a man, who was diligently paying alimony, to leave the country. “I encountered such a situation. How should one act in such cases? Despite having all the necessary information about the man, they did not contact him or notify him. Will the court bailiffs be held accountable for such actions?” the deputy asked.
Konkubaeva responded that the issue of accountability will definitely be considered. “If we look at the statistics for 2024, there were 5 criminal cases initiated, and in 2025 — 4,” she noted, adding that there is a likelihood of corruption, given the low salaries.
She also emphasized that there is currently a complete implementation of digitalization aimed at combating corrupt practices.
