A citizen approached the prosecutor's office of the Lenin District, claiming that he had fallen victim to deception. The man stated that he was promised an electric car of the "Kernan" brand, for which the victim paid him $25,000, but did not receive what was promised.
This incident was registered under Article 209 ("Fraud") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Law enforcement officers detained the suspect, identified as B.A., born in 1984, and placed him in a temporary detention facility.
