The girl was interrogated by the police before the tragic event
The tragic event occurred in the Issyk-Kul region, where a resident of the village of Ak-Suu took her own life after learning about her underage daughter's pregnancy. Information about the incident was reported to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to law enforcement agencies, on February 25, information was received at the Internal Affairs Department of the Ak-Suu district that the girl, M.A., born in 2009, is 16 weeks pregnant. Despite being invited for questioning, her mother did not show up.
On the same day, the woman went "to the store for a drink," but instead doused herself with gasoline and set herself on fire. She died in the regional hospital from the burns she sustained.
A forensic examination has been appointed. The case has been registered with the Internal Affairs Department of the Ak-Suu district, and investigative actions are underway.
