Customs Officers of Kyrgyzstan Congratulated on Their Professional Holiday

Employees and veterans of the customs service of the Kyrgyz Republic received congratulations from the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, on the occasion of Customs Workers' Day. This information was provided by the information department of the government office.

In his address, Kasymaliev emphasized the importance of customs authorities for the economic security of the country, the protection of its interests, and the replenishment of the state budget. He noted that in recent years, the customs service has undergone significant transformations, transitioning to modern service management models and reducing the administrative burden on honest businesses.

The head of the cabinet also highlighted that digital modernization and the implementation of new information systems have significantly accelerated customs clearance processes and increased throughput at border crossing points.

The contribution of the customs service to the state budget was also acknowledged. The projected revenues for 2025 amount to 151.7 billion soms; however, as of December 30 of this year, actual revenues have already reached 156.6 billion soms, exceeding the planned figures.

In conclusion of his congratulations, Adylbek Kasymaliev expressed gratitude to the veterans of the customs service and wished all employees health, success in their professional activities, and further achievements for the benefit of the country.
