The changes affect employees of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), except for the Border Service. In particular, a dark blue color was established for certain elements of the SCNS uniform.
Clarifications were made regarding the insulated camouflage jacket. It must now include a yoke, hidden chest pockets, a vertical collar, a central zipper closure, an insulated lining, and a removable hood. For senior officers, a collar made of astrakhan is provided. The description of the summer field uniform has also been updated, which now includes a jacket and trousers with a camouflage pattern, reinforcements at the elbows and knees, patch pockets, drawstrings, and removable field epaulettes.
Changes were also made to headgear. A new cap in yellow-green color with a dark blue band, featuring an eagle, has been approved for SCNS employees. On the eagle's chest is an image of the sun with a tündük, and in its right claw is a sword, while in its left is a laurel branch. For the senior officer rank of colonel, the use of an emblem with the State Emblem of the Kyrgyz Republic is permitted.
The rules for wearing the uniform have also been clarified. For SCNS employees, the special uniform replaces the field uniform, and high black boots are replaced with special footwear.
Separate everyday, winter, and parade uniforms have been approved for cadets of the SCNS Academy. The summer uniform includes a cap, a jacket, trousers, a yellow-green uniform shirt, a tie with a golden fastener, and black half-boots. The winter uniform includes a faux fur ushanka, a winter coat with a detachable collar, a jacket, trousers, a scarf, gloves, and black boots. The parade uniform is similar to the everyday one but is complemented by a white parade shirt, a white belt, white gloves, and an aiguillette.
