While being taken to the narcological department, as they approached Frunze Street in Sokuluk, I.A. attempted to jump out of the moving vehicle but was stopped by a police officer. During this, he exhibited aggression, using foul language and applying physical force against the police officer, which resulted in injuries to the officer and damage to his uniform.
The results of the medical examination confirmed that I.A. was in a state of alcohol intoxication. As a result of the incident, the police officer was assigned a forensic medical examination, which preliminarily identified a closed traumatic brain injury and a concussion.
A criminal case was initiated for hooliganism under Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Citizen I.A., born in 1993, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The investigation also established that this driver had repeatedly violated traffic rules. In particular, on February 18, 2022, while driving a Toyota Land Cruiser 100, he hit two schoolgirls in Sokuluk and fled the scene. As a result of this accident, both victims sustained serious injuries. Criminal proceedings were initiated in this case under Articles 312 (Violation of traffic safety rules) and 144 (Leaving in danger) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, which are currently in court.
The investigation is ongoing.
