The woman reported that on the day of her appeal, her ex-husband came to her temporary residence and began to threaten her, using physical force and obscene language. He twisted her arms and exerted both psychological and physical pressure.

The investigation established that such actions by the man have been occurring regularly since their divorce in August 2020. Between 2025 and 2026, the woman contacted the police five times with similar statements. Despite the application of administrative measures against the man, his behavior did not change.
In connection with these events, a criminal case has been initiated under part 1 of Article 138 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan, concerning abuse.
The suspect, born in 1989 and known as A.A., has been detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.
