
According to information provided by the press service of the regional police department, a search was conducted on February 19, 2026, in the village of Tort-Kul at the temporary residence of a citizen with the initials D.N. by employees of the Tokmok police department.
During the investigative actions, substances of plant origin with a specific odor were seized, as well as firearms, including a rifle with a silencer and optical sight, two smoothbore shotguns, and more than 200 cartridges of various calibers, which were stored without the necessary permits.
Experts determined that the seized substances are narcotics: cannabis (marijuana) with a total weight of 281.328 g, as well as hashish weighing 0.4781 g and 0.4440 g.
In addition, it was found that the rifle is a rifled weapon model TOZ-17 with a caliber of 5.6 mm. One of the smoothbore shotguns is of the model "IZH-18M" with a caliber of 12, while the other is of caliber 20. All ammunition was recognized as factory-made, technically sound, and suitable for use.
In connection with these circumstances, a criminal case was initiated under articles 267 (illegal circulation of weapons and ammunition) and 283 (illegal manufacture of narcotic substances without the intent to sell) of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
