Did not return 10 thousand dollars
In Bishkek, police officers from the First May District Department detained a man suspected of fraud. This information was disseminated by the press service of the department.
According to law enforcement, on May 16, 2025, a citizen named M.M. approached them. He reported that in September 2024, he handed over his Chevrolet Trailblazer, valued at 20,000 US dollars, to his acquaintance F.S. as payment for the construction of a bathhouse on his summer cottage. The terms of the deal stipulated the return of 10,000 dollars in cash.
However, as the complainant stated, the promised money was never returned, and the obligations were not fulfilled.
The investigative authorities of the First May District Department initiated a criminal case under Article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning fraud.
As a result of operational measures, citizen F.S., born in 1989, was identified and detained. A preventive measure in the form of arrest with detention in the pre-trial detention center No. 1 was chosen against him.
Currently, it is known that there are other similar complaints against F.S. regarding fraud. The investigation is ongoing.
