“I have an old-style license (from the 2000s) with categories B and C. I am interested in whether the subcategories B1 and C1 will be automatically added or if I will need to take exams? Previously, according to the old regulation (point 36), it was possible to obtain these categories without additional tests,” he noted.
The editorial team decided to clarify this issue with the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing under the Presidential Administration.
“The new license will only list those categories that are already present in the old one,” the state center reported.
As clarified by the press service, to obtain the subcategories B1 and C1, the reader will need to pass exams.
