The proposed changes, which will come into effect in February 2025, aim to simplify the registration process for declarations, improve transparency, and enhance the quality of work of accredited certification bodies.
Among the significant innovations, the following can be highlighted:
- In one application, it is now possible to specify up to three technical regulations, which will significantly reduce the number of administrative procedures;
- The documentation requirements are clarified — accredited bodies will need to provide detailed data from the Unified Register of the EAEU, including information on accreditation status, changes, violations, and audit experts;
- The composition of the expert commission will be clarified: it will include representatives of the authorized body, the national accreditation center, and technical specialists;
- Documents will be checked for compliance with the requirements for each declared technical regulation, with the compliance level set at no less than 70 percent;
- The validity period for the right to register declarations will be set at one year, and reapplication will be possible no earlier than six months after receiving the previous permit.
This project was developed in accordance with the constitutional Law "On the Cabinet of Ministers" and aims to improve the quality of conformity assessment for products entering the market of the country and the EAEU.
