During the investigation, it was established that officials regularly received bribes from drivers for the opportunity to pass with excess weight without registering violations. According to preliminary data, between 150 and 200 trucks passed through the specified posts daily.
In connection with these events, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under Article 337 "Abuse of Office" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Employees of the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained workers at the weight and dimension post while they were receiving bribes. A preventive measure in the form of detention was chosen for the citizens, including A.Z. born in 1991, S.U. born in 1981, A.A. born in 1998, A.R. born in 1994, M.M. born in 1979, T.T. born in 1973, and A.B. born in 1994.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.
