According to the agency, the materials under investigation claim that company employees, using their official positions, in cooperation with affiliated organizations, created illegal schemes for the implementation and sale of petroleum products (PP).
During the conducted inspection, it was established that these officials, aware that OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" is a strategic asset fully owned by the state, acted contrary to their obligations to ensure its effective functioning in the interests of citizens and the state.
"Against the backdrop of rising prices for petroleum products in the republic, instead of taking measures to stabilize the situation, they entered into a preliminary conspiracy with unidentified representatives of state bodies that exercise control in this area. This led to the creation of favorable conditions for the activities of certain affiliated companies, which contributed to illegal profit extraction, including tax evasion and other mandatory payments," the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
The investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kyrgyzstan has initiated a criminal case classified under the article "Corruption" of the Criminal Code of the republic.
Currently, necessary investigative actions are being carried out with the participation of specialists from the State Tax Service, aimed at a detailed and objective study of all circumstances of the case, as well as identifying and holding accountable all those responsible.
