According to their information, the Talas region Internal Affairs Department issued order No. 55-t, according to which from February 12 to 20 of the current year, a raid event called "Arsenal" is being conducted in the region.
During the event, city police officers, as well as officers from the district internal affairs departments of the Talas, Bakai-Ata, Aitmatov, and Manas districts, are monitoring citizens who possess firearms and engage in hunting. Permits for firearms and the conditions of their storage are being checked.
As a result of the inspections, residents voluntarily and free of charge handed over firearms to the Talas city internal affairs department: 7 units from the city of Talas, 5 from the Talas district, 2 from the Bakai-Ata district, 5 from the Aitmatov district, and 2 from the Manas district. A total of 21 units of firearms were handed over. Additionally, 12 protocols were drawn up against citizens who violated the established rules.
