The court found them guilty not only of carrying out the terrorist attack but also of aiding terrorist activities and training for the purpose of organizing terrorist activities. Each of them is also required to pay a fine of 990,000 rubles. According to the court's decision, they will serve their sentences in a high-security penal colony.
In addition, 11 accomplices were sentenced to life imprisonment, including Umedjon and Mustakim Soliev, Shahromjon Gadoev, Zubaidullo Ismoilov, Hussein Hamidov, Muhammad Sharipzoda, Yakubjoni Yusufzoda, Nazrimad Lutfulloi, Jumakhon Kurbonov, Khusen Medov, and Jabrail Aushev.
Four other defendants received sentences ranging from 19 years and 11 months to 22.5 years. Among them is Russian citizen and Kyrgyzstan native Alisher Kasimov, who provided housing for the perpetrators of the attack and received a sentence of 22 years and 10 months in prison. His apartment in the Moscow region was confiscated.
For reference, the terrorist attack at "Krokus City Hall" occurred on March 22, 2024, when terrorists stormed the hall during a concert by the band "Piknik." They opened fire on the audience and staff of the shopping and entertainment center, and then set the hall on fire. As a result of the tragedy, 150 people died.
Thus, the total number of defendants in the case of the terrorist attack amounted to 15 people, including four perpetrators. Responsibility for this attack was claimed by the group "Vilayat Khorasan," which is part of the "Islamic State" in Afghanistan.
