Investigative activities are being conducted to thoroughly investigate all circumstances of the case.
Recently, media outlets released video materials prepared by the State Tax Service titled "Oil for Ours: How Kyrgyzneftegaz Was Ruined," which contain information about suspicious actions by some employees of OJSC 'Kyrgyzneftegaz.' This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the information provided by the press service, company employees, abusing their official positions, in cooperation with some affiliated enterprises, created illegal schemes for the sale and distribution of fuel and lubricants.
During the investigation, it was established that officials, recognizing the importance of OJSC 'Kyrgyzneftegaz' as a strategic entity fully owned by the state, and understanding their responsibilities to ensure its effective operation in the interests of society, acted unlawfully.
"Against the backdrop of rising fuel prices in the country, instead of taking measures to improve the situation, they entered into a preliminary agreement with unidentified individuals from government agencies responsible for oversight in this area. This led to the creation of favorable conditions for some affiliated companies seeking to gain illegal profits by evading taxes and other mandatory payments," the statement noted.
In connection with this case, the Investigative Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has initiated a criminal proceeding under Article 336 "corruption" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Currently, investigative and procedural actions are ongoing, aimed at a comprehensive and impartial clarification of all circumstances of the case, as well as holding accountable those responsible.
